Karen's surgery was a great success today. We got there at 10:30am and they started the surgery around 12pm and it lasted just shy of 5 hours. The great news is that her lymph nodes showed no signs of cancer!! What a great answer to prayer and fasting...thank you all!!
Here is Karen getting check-in for surgery:
All hooked up to the IV's and ready to go:
The family brings on the love!

I'm so happy to hear such wonderful news! Give your beautiful wife my love and hope the healing is quick! Ginny
You are a true inspiration Karen - stay strong - and the best part about losing your hair are the wild wigs you can wear and have some fun with. My thoughts and heart are with you while you begin the recovery process.
Okay, This is my first time with this blog stuff. This will be my second try because I don't know what the ID thing was and when I tried to go back, my post was gone.
My message went something like this: Yay!!! Karen!! God is still in the miracle business, that is a blessing! We have continually prayed for you and it is good to see the prayer fulfilled! Can't wait to see you!
Karen, I was so glad to hear the good news and see you looking so good after all you have been through. Your positive attitude has been a true inspiration to me. When I grow up I want to be just like you! Thinking of you, Trish
