Round 4 and all it's badness is over! I took the meds this time and got through it much more gracefully. They put me to sleep and I had wonderful help with my children's playdates!
Thank you, Janis George for the wonderful meal, Wendy Rasmussen, Heidi Shoenfeld, Colleen Percival, Kim Thomas, Joey and Ruth AnnHarrison, Suzanna Brown, Michelle Cooley, Ruth Bran, Mom and Dad, Tammy Champlin, Diane for the awesome cake, Arlise for the fresh fruit, Su Jeong for the amazing Korean dumplings and bread. And of course, my nice husband for handling everything so well and giving me back rubs. You all made this week so pleasant for us.
Sometimes people tell me I'm strong and I want to laugh. I'm no different than anyone else, in fact I can be downright wimpy when in comes to pain. Cancer just changes your life in an instant and it's forever. I'm just doing what anyone else would do in this situation, getting through it. My greatest source of comfort has been overwhelming support from people and my faith. I knew I was loved but people have proven to me that I'm loved over and over. Hugs are so much easier to give now. People and how we treat them are the most important thing. Your smiles, your knock at the door, a birthday card, an email, all have helped me so much.

Hi Karen.
I am so ashamed for not writing you before now. I have found myself wrapped up in my own selfish little world and not very proud of it.
You have always been on my list of one of the sweetest people I know and served with. You always have a smile and kind words for me whether I deserve it or not.
Even though you say you aren't strong, you are! You have the strength of your faith and the people around you who love you. What else could give you what you need in this trial of your life?
You are a beautiful person inside and out and I so admire you. You are an inspiration to me and I love you more than you could know. You are so special to me even though you might not know it by my lack of service or communication with you. You are in my heart and in my prayers, sweet lady.

Karen,
I have met few people whom I call a true lady. You are one of those. You are gracious and caring and I count myself blessed to be a part of your family. (Thank you Clay) Your laid back attititude "It's all good!" put those who count at ease. I Love ya!
Kathy
I am so happy you are through round four! You have done very well and I'm so glad you have so much support there. It's hard to express to people how much you appreciate it, isn't it? :-) And even if you don't feel strong now, you should at least feel proud -- because you have to be strong to get through, and you'll be stronger still when you're done. You're doing so well!
Whatever Gural! You are one of the strongest people I have ever known and you have allowed yourself to be an example to us through this. I hope that if I ever face something this horrible that I will be as faithful and loving as you have been.
I love you, Ginny
