Getting Ready

Today I had an echo cardiogram, kinda interesting and uneventful. By far the easiest thing I've done in the last month.

I already had a chemo port put in during surgery so we don't have to go back in the hospital for that. It's just under the collarbone and I forget that it's there. I get to put numbing cream on it before I leave the house, then when they put the needle in I won't feel it. I'll give a blood sample, then the anti nausea cocktail of 4 things will go into the port first, then the T drug by iv, followed by A and C drugs. The anti nausea mixture can make you drowsy so I'm planning on taking a nice relaxing nap or read during this 4 hour experience. My mom will go with me. I'm curious to see how my body will react to it all.

Thank you for your prayers. They mean so much to us.
