RADIATION overwith!!
Radiation began 6 weeks ago. I got 3 permanent tattoos last week so they can line it up right. After 28 consecutive visits I am finished and the radiologist says that I can call myself officially "CANCER FREE"! It takes about 5 actual minutes to get a radiology treatment, it doesn't hurt, and it's a lot like an x-ray. I went 5 days a week and got a bad sunburn the last two weeks and it makes you very tired.
My hair is growing. Time to celebrate!

Wow Karen, what a journey. It has been amazing to watch you. I love and admire you more than ever. You are an inspiration!! Is your hair going to come back in a different color?

The hair growing back stage is fun. I loved when my Natalie's hair was growing back. I love those words CANCER FREE! I am so happy for you!
